Winning his division in the process! and a 5th Hobart race In current yacht “Encore” as sailing master with partner Tomoko as skipper.

Tomoko, a talented sailor in small keel boats has won national titles 3 years in a row in her home country of Japan and travelled the world over 10 years chasing world championships.

Airi serving our guests onboard Encore

Having sailed on Sydney Harbour, she decided Australia has a lot to offer sailors so moved here in 2006 to pursue her career and enjoy the sailing.

A recent highlight being skipper aboard “Encore” in the 2019 Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

Now working together and with the help of Tomokos’ daughter Airi, they hope to introduce as many people as they can to the calming effects of life on the water. Aboard “Encore”, we specialise in small groups from 1 to 13 people. With such a competent crew and a glass of bubbles in hand, how could you not feel relaxed!”
